Launched by Mortimer Spinks, #YouEqualTech is an evolution of nearly 10 years research into gender diversity in the technology and digital industry.
Using these insights of the diversity challenges the industry is facing, the campaign aims to make positive changes by working with business leaders, tech professionals, students, teachers and parents on how they can take steps towards creating a more inclusive technology industry.

Join a monthly Tech Community Meet up
Each month YouEqualTech partner with a progressive London-based tech organisation to explore a meaningful and relevant theme. Within just one year, the community has grown to over 1700 people.
Past themes have included: What it means to build a truly inclusive culture; inspiring stories of various female tech leaders and tech founders and how we can all begin to get comfortable with imposter syndrome and promote mental health in the workplace.
The Meetup also aims to dispel common misconceptions of what a career in tech looks like, by shining a light on diverse role models and highlighting the potential for positive social change that a career in tech can provide.
